Does The United Negro College Fund Consider Half African American Students For Scholarships?

I’m applying for one of their scholarships and I put in my essay that I’m half African American. Would this hurt chances of getting a scholarship from them?
uhh i dont see why it should. wouldnt that be discrimination, who ares if your only half. i would still go for it.
