The life and times of a college student has never been used in the same sentence without the accompaniment of the phrase college stress and on occasion; how to cope with it. While college life opens up new avenues on how to het ahead in life, it is time for many people to bid good bye to the easy going lifes they one spent. However, the task of getting head while coping with college stress is easier said than done.

College life is where one chooses whether they want to do something with their lives or live their lives to the fullest. While doing this though there are many forms of obstacles hurled across your path daily and all of them can be summed into two words known as;  college stress.  However unfair it may seem, college stress is mostly experienced by those who are righteous in their attitude towards life. Dealing with your room mate/s, eating cafeteria food, being away from home, attending and paying attention to classes while juggling your many necessary extra curricular activities are indeed painful tasks that are all part of college life that in time converts itself into a source of College Stress.

Then comes the weekends where you plan to get some of your last minute studying done for exams that are right around the corner when your social life at college too contributes to the mounting stress in the form of the pile of books on your bedside table. To study or to party, becomes a prime dilemma that is faced by students and contributes yet again to enhance College Stress. While sacrificing your weekends to revise will bring you a better grade, missing out on an event that  everyone  will be going to will limit your possible chances at exposure. This can create a lot of College Stress in individuals.

College stress is a constant contributor to a students mental health and surveys show that they are more stressed out about being in college and coping with its ups and downs rather than worrying about the future that they are trying to build. College Stress is brought about mainly due to peer pressure and social stigmas in comparison with examination stress because you have to deal with that only at the end of every semester while the others are forms of College Stress on a daily basis.
